Deborah Pfluger Launches Aha Communications

AUSTIN, Texas (February 22, 2007) – Deborah Pfluger, a veteran of the Austin communications industry, has launched Aha Communications, an Austin-based marketing services firm.

Aha Communications, located just minutes from downtown Austin, offers a “no nonsense" approach to marketing. “I founded Aha Communications with the goal of helping businesses and organizations get the marketing advice and materials they need without the usual hassle. We deliver great work by being responsive, effective and direct," Pfluger said. “Our results-oriented team creates exposure for our clients by providing sound marketing strategies and an array of services, including websites, product launches, advertising, branding and direct marketing."

The firm’s client list already includes CompGroup AGC, the City of Pflugerville and the Pflugerville Community Development Corp., the Long Center for the Performing Arts and a newly chartered local bank. Pfluger has more than 20 years of experience in the communications business. Most recently, she was a founding partner and executive vice president of Staats Falkenberg & Partners Inc., a local public relations firm. Her experience ranges from planning and management of advertising and promotional programs to website and collateral development. She has successfully led a number of branding and rebranding efforts and has managed numerous company and product launches.

Pfluger earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the Intermarket Agency Network, a national association of advertising agency principals. She is a former board member of the American Marketing Association’s Austin Chapter and was a first-round judge in the association’s national Effie Award Competition.
